Garner, N.C., October 04, 2014–
If you've never gone to 5th Avenue Coffee Cafe, you are missing out on one of Garner's hidden treasures.  It's gourmet coffees and tasty desserts handmade by owner, Monta Harris, leave many a customer with eyes closed savoring what is indescribably delicious.  As piping hot as her special brew was the BUSINESS & BOOKS event, featuring Vikki Hankins and Suzette Hinton.

An Award-winning Publisher, Vikki Marie Hankins, celebrated for her uplifting message as Editor-In-Chief of VMH Magazine and her work as a voice for the voiceless who get lost in the penal system, transformed this small-town cafe into a smorgasbord of inspiration.  Her perspective on business, books and beliefs set a table that all could eat from no matter where they were in life.

Local Author Suzette Hinton, most recently featured by BookWorks and 2013 recipient of the Excellence in Inspirational Writings Award by Hankins' magazine for her regular column "The Inspirational Corner," was instrumental in bringing Ms. Hankins to the Raleigh/Garner area.

"I saw Suzette's Facebook post about the cafe and knew I had to come to this space," says Hankins.  Hinton's aromatic perspective, referred to as her "sound," was referenced by Hankins as she read aloud favorite passages from her books, The Sound of My Life and The Sound of My Soul.

Says Hinton, "Vikki is the real deal. She has such strength of presence.  Such wealth of information.  But most of all, she really cares. You don't find that very often in the publishing world."  About this collaboration, she adds, "You ain't seen nothing yet!"
