Raleigh, N.C., October 10, 2013– Author and Inspirational speaker, Suzette Hinton, was one among four presenters at the Women's Day Celebration at Mount Peace Baptist Church on Martin Luther King Boulevard in Raleigh NC.  With 250 in attendance, the theme of the day was Women Under Construction.  Women from all walks of life filled the hallways and conference rooms ready to hear something to encourage and celebrate them.  Suzette's workshop entitled, "Breathe, Your Life Depends On It," did not disappoint.

"So many of us are going through the motions of life, but we don't feel alive.  If you asked us how we're really, really doing, we'd sigh.  The jobs we're working, the relationships we're nurturing, the life we're living just isn't fulfilling.  We're exhausted," says Hinton who less than a year ago was working a job she hated and struggling to find meaning in her life.  Knocked off-balance by the death of her cousin, Life asked her a hard question:  "If you dropped dead today would you have any regrets?" Yes was her answer, she confesses.  She had not lived her life on her terms.  It was with the understanding of how short life is that Life Coach asked her attendees these thought-provoking questions:

What in your life is causing you to feel asphyxiated (like you can't breathe)?

How is guilt, shame or fear cutting off your oxygen supply?

How can you reconnect with your life-giving breath?  How can you feel alive again?

Suzette R. Hinton, who is now 100% working for herself tells women that all they need to do is honor their authentic voice.  That authentic part of us is what is awakened by God's breath.  She tells them, "If we align with it [our authentic voice]and fully embrace the unique creatures that we are, we are sure to feel alive."  Author of The Sound of My Life, she is now in the process of completing an audio CD of the book just in time for the holidays.  She is also writing two others books with an anticipated launch in Spring 2014.
