I love to collaborate. There is an energy and synergy in it. This week, I collaborated with three phenomenal women: Tina Wheeler, Lea Alston and Lisa Jeanette. TINA WHEELER My friend, Tina Wheeler and I reconnected after what, 15 years or so. She has started a new clothing line called The Epitome Collection. I didn't know she was running a contest until I got an email from her on Facebook announcing that I was her 100th LIKE. How cool! And she was sending me a complimentary T-Shirt from her collection. Now, I love winning! Seldom do I ever win any contest, so you can imagine how stoked I was to hear. Add to that, having a prize shipped to me? I was jumping all over the place. When the T-Shirt arrived - quite quickly I might add - I was holding it up same as Gollum, the disfigured and pathetic creature on the movie, THE LORD OF THE RINGS, held the ring. The precious! Check out the video I did to promote it: I was so impressed with the workmanship, the quality fabric, the attention to detail and the overall feel of the Tee that I asked her to take my logo (yep the one in my website banner) and epitomize it. We're going to officially launch it June 21st weekend. It was a stroke of genius for us to collaborate on this project! LEA ALSTON Another great friend, Lea Alston, and I share a genuine passion for creating experiences that promote wholeness: mind, body and soul. As she described her vision, I knew it was a must-collaborate for me. In July, July 2, 2013 as a matter of fact, she will be inviting her inner circle members to a monthly gathering. With my recent order, I became a member! Her eyes lit up as she talked about the experience she wanted to create: sipping on green tea, aromatherapy and guiding them in enriching conversation. That's where I came in. I will be a guest speaker offering a different spin on surrender. "Surrender is not losing yourself. It is surrendering the need of being anyone else," was a definition that came out of my own spirit while I was pondering what I would say to the members. I can't wait to share more! LISA JEANETTE Last but not least was a text from my author sister, Lisa Jeanette. Barely awake, I got a text to call her ASAP. She held a Coffee & Dessert Sister Gathering a couple of weeks ago and she had some inspired ideas in anticipation of the next gathering. I know that feeling. You got to share it! This lady is a mover and a shaker. In fact, we spoke this morning and she has already posted it! The Author's Press will be a meeting place for the aspiring and the inspired--a marriage of authors, writers and coaching. It's gonna be A - MA - ZING, convening on Friday, June 21, 2013 Lisa will share her experience and nuggets from her collaborating with experts on writing, publishing and promoting. I will evoke the motion that stems from connecting with our authentic voice: positioning and attracting Universe's boundless supply of resources and wealth. |
