The Sound of Gratitude

There's nothing like being around inventive, creative people that gets me inspired.  Today, I got together with some friends at Panera Bread.  I almost didn't go.  You know how it is when you have so much on your to-do list that you find it hard to tear yourself away?  Well, that was me.  I'm in the process of setting up a more mindful accounting system.  By mindful, I mean with taxes in mind.  I can't tell you why me, a person who has a bookkeeping business, had not taken the time to set up a schedule for paying her own taxes.  I think my mind just went a li'l numb when it came to my own bookkeeping.  With resolving this being foremost on my brain, I almost missed the whole reason why I work for myself in the first place.  The freedom of directing my life in the manner that I wish rather of having obligation dictate or an employer's time clock.

Getting away from the number crunching and laughing with sister business women relaxed me and opened me up to the strategies the Universe has for me.  For this I am grateful..  .
