Invitation to Book Launch

Today I posted invitations to my book launch.  I am so excited about April 6th.  Already people are securing their spots with free tickets through Eventbrite's website,

Today, I reread my book as if I was a reader.  I found some small things that needed to be tweaked here and there, but all and all, it is ready.  Once I've gotten back the copyright information, the book will be ready to ship.  Until then, we'll take preorders so that folks will be able to receive their book early enough to have it at the launch.

A lot has been accomplished today and I'm getting ready to go to bed.  I've made a promise to myself that I will take better self care.

As I prepare for bed, I must pause to thank the God of all grace who tapped me on the shoulder and said it was time.  He is sending people, resources, joint ventures and business into my life.  I talked with a fellow entrepreneur tonight and she said something that struck a chord.  She said she never wonders if her business is going to fail.   She also said that she cannot imagine not working for herself.   For me, that is freedom.  And that is what this is all about for me -- Freedom.  Whatever form that takes is up to God.  I just want to be free to live my life on my terms and to actually live, not merely survive.

When I started having strategy sessions with my business strategist, the main intention was increased revenue.  The Bible says that money answers all things.  It doesn't buy happiness but it answers many of life's questions.  I've said it before, the only thing I envy about Oprah is the freedom she has to help others and to dream out loud.  That's freedom.  I don't want her celebrity, her notoriety, her life.  I just want the freedom that she enjoys everyday.  I don't have to envy it, just receive it because it's part of my inheritance in Christ.  Money opens up choices.  God is the Divine Strategist and I trust him to illuminate my path to freedom.  Nothing less than freedom will do.
